The new series of Rubbens Blast Chillers & Freezers performs a rapid and uniform cooling to preserve the organoleptic qualities and the nutritional values of food and extend its storage life, making it the perfect tool for professionals in all areas of foodservice.

The powerful operation meets all HACCP and food safety standards and, simultaneously, is delicate enough to avoid the risks of dehydration and formation of ‘ice skin’, in either Chill or Freeze mode.

 

RB2

Outstanding flexibility and ease of use:

  • 6 different models, with yields between 10kg and 50kg per cycle;
  • Dual mode operation: blast chilling or blast freezing;
  • Multi-purpose inner cells to accommodate both GN 1/1 pans and EN 400×600 bakery trays (Excl. RB2-3);
  • Advanced electronic controller with an intuitive menu and friendly navigation;
  • 4 Press & Go programmes: Soft Chill, Hard Chill, Soft Freeze and Hard Freeze.

Operation

  • Four preset programmes and several customisable options, allowing the end user to easily set up specific programmes to suit his menu requirements.
  • All programmes automatically switch to holding mode at the end of the cycle, maintaining product at right temperature until being transferred to final storage.
  • All programmes can be controlled either by time (for regular output) either by the probe supplied (ideal for precise core temperature control).
  • Acoustic alarm at the end of each working cycle.

Construction

  • 1.4304 EN 10088-2 (AISI 304) stainless steel interior and exterior for safety and durability;
  • Eco-friendly zero ODP and zero GWP polyurethane insulation, 70mm thick to minimise thermal losses.
  • Height adjustable stainless steel legs for accurate levelling.
  • Self closing door with automatic hold-open at 90°, fitted with silicone magnetic gasket.
  • Coated evaporator coil for protection against corrosion and increased durability.

RB4 RB5

The Slim RB4 Blast Chiller and the RB5 Blast Chiller & Blast Freezer are two-in-one cabinets, capable of delivering rapid and uniform cooling and ready to operate as a holding refrigerator (RB4) or refrigerator/ freezer (RB5). Their powerful cooling units and the 75 mm thick insulation allow for high yield blast cycles.

Unrivalled flexibility

The refrigerating systems are engineered to function as regular upright cabinets that can perform blast cycles whenever required. Slim and capacious The inner cells can take up to 5 GN 1/1 pans in blast mode, and up to 16 GN 1/1 pans in holding mode, in an incredibly small 0,35 m2 footprint.

4 press & Go programmes

Two Soft programmes (probe or time), and two Hard programmes (probe or time), all of them automatically switch to holding mode at the end of the cycle for a trouble-free operation.

Food grade stainless steel interior and exterior and powerful ventilators with high ingress protection rating (IP45).
